REexpert~The Real Estate Advocate

referrals….have you heard of The Real Estate Advocate? REexpert , LLC ?
on 7-15-2008 It was my Birthday…is it a GOOD day or a BAD day…in these times of all of credit card scams, identity theft, the FRAUD that can happen… pretty sad isn’t it 
and scary … but since my husband & business partner just opened our new company last October 2007…we are really hoping to pick the right avenues to get our company name out there and best utilize the tools to help us GROW… I received a call today from a man Richard Strunk, saying he was the Consumer Advocate Consultant for The Real Estate Advocate, “Connecting Home Buyers to the Absolute Best Real Estate Professionals in their Market” (720) 344-5062. He told me he had picked out about 6 Realtors in our market area to represent them a fresh new company with Buyer Referrals and this is NO COST, is all they expect is a 20% referral on buyer leads they generate to ONLY ME if I am the chosen one for our market area…I needed to hurry & join this Webinar in 20 minutes…so I talked to Cameron about it and we joined the presentation… over 50 minutes on the phone and watching a webinar at reexpert.glance.net … it really sounded good … Jeff Guthrie the founder of the Real Estate Advocate did the power point closing how much is this worth to you giving 3 examples and placing $10,000 value on each of the 3 examples, then giving the price of $1950.00 in 2 payments or a one time discounted fee of $3490.00. So by the time the 50 minute talk was over…I was asked to give my credit card info and I would be charged the payments. But this WONDERFUL offer would go to the Realtor that called and gave their phone number first … so Cameron called, left our phone number & name and about 5 minutes later they, Richard Strunk, called back and said Cameron & I were the chosen ones…maybe…then they asked a little info and I asked for some references besides s the one they talked about on the Webinar….they gave me a couple of names of Realtors, one being a Realtor I have known for many years in an surrounding market place that had just joined…so I called her…she had just JOINED, no referrals yet, but she felt real happy with the contact she has received the past 10 days since she joined….but of course she has not gotten a referral yet. So I called the other reference they gave me the name of Nate Berg, in Minneapolis Minnesota….well, he had joined a few months back, no referrals yet….I have went on line & GOOGLED the Real Estate Advocate and I see another agent asked about them in another Blog section of the Internet…
Since I posted that Blog on Active Rain in July…so many issues have came up about the RE Advocate…Has anyone here heard about them? Have others signed up and PAID the fee (some Realtors PAID way more than we did) Have you recieved the Service & Products you were promised?

As you must know by now.., REExpert.org has NOT been a good investment at all. They are being investigated by the Colorado Attorney Generals office, I know because they called me yesterday. – I have been in about 8 months and NO Leads other than PPC which also did not pan out. – My blog is at http://www.REExpert.us and dedicated just to this subject.

I had the same experience as you did my dear colleague, with the difference that I did not give them my credit card. Never trust those guys. Why do you want to pay in advance.
I am strong believer that NAR must take some action and stop those bad habits.
I also suggest that NAR must have some kind of serious system that protects the referral business. But who is really listening.
I am some time wandering why we pay all those dues and why NAR as well as all the local and State Associations are doing to protect the honest and good REALTORS among us.
It is a shame.
I was going to join reexperts at the beginning of the year but I decided against it. I had sent them $2500 of the $5000 and it took many calls to Jeff Guthrie but I finally got my check for the refund. I haven’t heard from them since. LeAnne was really nice as was Jeff, I just didnt’ believe in the way they were going to go about it. I decided to spend the $2500 a month on my own website.
That was until today when I rec’d this email.
Subject: The Clock is Ticking!
I’m doing what you guys can’t and that’s stop a crime! I will not reveal myself because I work here, think about it??? Take the good info and move on.

In 15 days if Jeff and REexpert doesn’t pay me my current paycheck and get every Employee, Consultant, Ex-employee and vendors paid in FULL your data will be posted to the Internet. This will include banking and credit info.
